WS 2015-16 Race 1: Cambridge results

Lovely autumn weather for the opening race of the season at Cambridge turned out to be a mixed blessing as it left the competitors dodging punts all the way through the backs.

This popular race was well-supported with 133 competitors. There were particularly large fields and a high standard amongst the long-distance K1 and K2 races, which were hotly contested.

An earlier than usual race start, coupled with slick and efficient operation by Donna and her organising team at Cambridge made it possible to have an excellent days racing and finish the prize-giving with time to spare.  Race results can be found on the WS Results page.
